Atelier 03 - Italy
After the success of Atelier, Atelier 03 by Ground Research was designed as a 12 day architectural tour to Italy for students of Art, Architecture and Design. Atelier 03 was organised in June 2016. During the trip, the group visited Rome, Vatican, Florence, Milan and Venice.
During the visit the group visited p[laces of architectural interests. The trip included architecture of Richard Meier, Zaha Hadid, Renzo Piano, Rem Koolhaas, Cesar Pelli, Santiago Calatrava, Carlo Scarpa. The visit also included observing and understanding the works of Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Raphael and Bernini.
The trip concluded with Venice 15th International Architecture Biennale, titled REPORTING FROM THE FRONT,curated by Alejandro Aravena and organized by La Biennale di Venezia.
